Undergraduate education: I obtained MSc in Medical Biotechnology, 110/110 cum laude (with a special remark to career orientation), at the University of Naples "Federico II" in July 2005. I performed my thesis degree project (Title: "Study of the angiogenesis in response to ischemia in the mouse model Plgf -/- eNos -/- ") at Institute of Genetics and Biophysics "Buzzati-Traverso", CNR-Naples (Italy),under the supervision of Dr.Sandro De Falco and Prof.Tommaso Russo.

Statement of research interests: My main research interest is to investigate how Vav1 (GEF for Rho family GTPases playing a pivotal role in T cell activation and development) and GIT1 (G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR)-kinase-interacting protein 1 that regulates migration and protrusive activity) are related, to find a possible convergence between TcR and chemokine receptors signalling in key processes of lymphocytes such as immune synapse organization, T cell activation and chemotaxis.

Expectations from Integramm: I think that this PhD programm is a great occasion for me to enlarge my scientific knowledge and to grow as an investigator in an excellent and very stimulating environment.
